New impressive discoveries at ALROSA's fields

On May 12, 2020, a diamond weighing 71.33 carats was extracted from the ore of the Yubileynaya pipe of the Aikhal Mining and Processing Division. The gem-quality crystal is transparent with a yellow tint. The diamond was extracted using two-stage sorters manufactured by Bourevestnik, JSC: LS-20-04-3H, with final finishing of concentrates at LS-OD-50-03H.

In total, more than 150 separators manufactured by Bourevestnik, JSC were installed at the Aikhal Mining and Processing Division, ensuring the production of about 13 million ct per year.

Another unique diamond was extracted on June 04, 2020 from the ore of the Nyurbinskaya pipe: a gem-quality crystal weighing 61.05 carats and measuring 30x22x10 mm. The discovery was possible thanks to the use of the final finishing separator LS-OD-50-04-01 manufactured by IC Bourevestnik JSC and installed at the Nyurba Mining and Processing Division. The sorter is designed for final finishing of concentrate of -50 + 5 mm coarseness with throughput up to 2500 kg/h.

More than 50 sorters manufactured by Bourevestnik, JSC are in operation at the Nyurba Mining and Processing Division.
