12.09.2023

A 390.7-carat diamond was found at the Mayat diamond mine (Sakha Republic) by Almazy Anabara. This is the largest diamond found in Russia in the last 10 years. The light crystal of non-standard shape with a yellow-brown halo is a unique find to date.

The diamond was extracted using X-ray fluorescent separators for primary concentration LS-50-05 and final clarification LS-OD-50-03H. This set of separators allows processing diamond-containing ore at size classes from 5 mm to 50 mm and throughput up to 30 tons per hour with a recovery rate of 99%. The separators included in the technological process of diamond ore beneficiation were delivered to Bourevestnik, JSC in 2016.
