Solid State Chemistry in St. Petersburg

Acting academicians of RAS Mrs.Stolyarova V.L., Mr. Yaroslavtsev A.B., Mr. Rempel A.B. made welcoming speeches to the conference participants, confirming the importance and effectiveness of the planned scientific sessions, noting a significant increase in the number of participants representing the best scientific schools of our country.

Together with the scientific conference the exhibition of scientific instrumentation manufacturers was opened, the importance of which was commented by the chairman of the program committee of the conference, Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Chemical Sciences Mrs. Almyasheva O.V.: “The participation of real manufacturers formulates a request for scientists, which allows us to work for the future, on the one hand, and on the other hand, we show the real sector of the economy, real industry, what we can and how we can improve what we already have, and better help to create something new”. Undoubtedly, the exhibition is new contacts, new ideas. As part of the work of the innovation center at the exposition was not only a demonstration of high-tech equipment, but also gave a number of consultations to specialists of institutes and laboratories already working on the equipment of the Bourevestnik.

Especially interested participants of the conference took part in an off-site technical seminar “Modern X-ray analytical equipment for materials science tasks”organized on the site of the Bourevestnik, JSC, where a range of products manufactured at the plant, and most importantly, the specifics of the devices has been introduced in more detail to representatives of different institutes, organizations and enterprises from different regions of the country. Due to the specificity of the conference, the speech of Mrs. Tatiana Ivanova, a Candidate of Geochemical Sciences, a Head of the R&D X-ray diffractometers and methods Lab aroused special interest.
