Annual Youth Conference «Ore School 2024»

From February 14 to 16 in Moscow held the Jubilee Fifth Conference - Ore School of CNIGRI 2024: «Mineral-Raw Material Base of Diamonds, Noble and Nonferrous Metals - from Forecast to Production».

«Ore School 2024» annually gathers participants from all over Russia and abroad. The conference is held for students, young scientists and specialists in the field of scientific activities about the Earth, with the aim of their professional and personal growth.

The topics of the conference include a wide range of issues of geology and genesis of mineral deposits. Participation of young specialists in «Ore School» contributes to the development of their potential and integration into the professional society, as well as promotes the establishment and development of horizontal ties and partnerships between universities, scientific and industrial organizations.

From the Innovation Center Bourevestnik, JSC the conference was attended by employees of the complex department of separators: engineer of 1 category Kashtanov Ilya Egorovich and scientific supervisor - chief specialist Verkhovskaya Yana Ivanovna. Ilya Egorovich made a report on «Enrichment of tungsten ores by X-ray absorption separation method», Yana Ivanovna presented a report on “Enrichment of poor tin-bearing ores by X-ray absorption separation method” in a remote format.

The presentations of both participants aroused the interest of the conference audience and during the breaks between the reports our colleagues were approached by guests and listeners with various questions on the topics of exploration, mining and mineral processing.
