History

In the historic Malaya Okhta district of St. Petersburg, on the right bank of the Neva River, a small two-story brick building stood not so long ago. The Bourevestnik, Joint Stock Company traces its history back to this building, which remains only in photographs. Having passed the way from Petrograd workshop for assembly, adjustment and repair of an X-ray imported equipment, and in 1927 it became the mechanical plant of N. Benoit, being lately renamed  as the Bourevestnik plant 

There were years of a heroic labor of many generations of engineers, scientists and workers in the history of the enterprise . Since 1959, the specialized design bureau of an X-ray equipment (SDB XRE) was assigned the main goal by the country's leadership - to provide the domestic science and industry with a modern X-ray equipment. Today the enterprise is a leader in the development and production of an X-ray separators for a mining industry and an X-ray analytical devices.

A special milestone in the development of Bourevestnik is the year 2005 - the beginning of a long-term strategic partnership with the ALROSA Joint Stock Company (PJSC). Having become a subsidiary of the world leader in the diamond mining industry, the Innovation Center strengthened its positions both in the domestic and foreign markets, maintaining its stability and laying a strong foundation for further development.

Considering growing production volumes and the need to introduce new technologies, a decision was made to relocate the company's production to the Novoorlovskaya Special Economic Zone. In 2018, a new complex of the Bourevestnik, JSC was ceremonially opened.
